How do you relax?
Varying degrees of relaxation would include DVDs on the couch, on the bed with a book (though that’s less relaxing since I lost the ability to lie on my stomach) or a hot bath. Cat cuddles are relaxing in small doses if the cat isn’t too unwilling.
What do you sleep in?
It’s summer here at the moment, so usually a spaghetti-straps nightdress. Lately, one of stretchy fabric, the stretchier the better.
What kind of pillow do you like?
I have one quite full pillow for my head, and at the moment have a body pillow for elbows, knees and belly. And cat, most nights.
Do you sew in bed? Read? Watch tv? Eat?
I read in bed. And sometimes have breakfast in bed. I make a point of not using my laptop in bed, and we have no bedroom TV. I don’t sew at all, in bed or out (I am distinctly unladylike.)
Early to bed or all-nighter?
Probably later than I should, given a 6am wakeup time…
When you were young did you sleep with a stuffed animal?
Many. I still have a lot of them, even if they don’t have pride of place in the bedroom anymore. They’re all ratty and I’ve no plans to give them to my children, but even just thinking of disposing of them makes me a bit teary.
Who would you most like to have a pillow fight with?
For “naughty” pillow fights -Richard Armitage, in full North And South Mr Thornton period costume. Never tell my husband.
For “extreme warfare fun” pillow fights – I’d have to say an orangutan. Long crazy arms and particularly ticklish. Winner.
Richard Armitage will forever be Mr. Thorntorn.
I first saw him in the North and South miniseries DVD and have loved him since then.
