Welcome to 2010! Hello new decade! (Well done LiberryDwarf for getting off her but and quitting The Sims long enough to blog!)
I have been chilling out since Christmas doing pretty much nothing but read and game (so wonderful!) but have put together enough treats for a blog entry at last. Hope you like!
1) I did go to see Sherlock Holmes last week: and while perhaps Robert Downey Jr’s Holmes was a bit rough around the edges for my tastes (and there were a few niggling things about Adler which annoyed me slightly) I did think Jude Law did a delightfully refreshing Watson: I think Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have been proud. And Jude Law aside, here’s why we should all love Watson…
2) Another book list – this time the 20 best SF books of the (presumably last) decade. Oh dear, only 4 out of 20 – time to beef up the wishlist again!
