Ack, slack again! Apologies for my laziness – I do love my blog and all of you! (This time my excuse is my new box set of Impressions city-building games – have been spending far too much time in Atlantis building little red white and black pyramids…)
Here’s what I found in between …
1) What would happen if the writers of “Lost” turned their hand to Sherlock Holmes fanfic?
2) Here’s one that’s especially for Kalafudra and all my other Austen fan friends… ready ladies? (And gentlemen?) Roll up your shirt-sleeves, tighten your impossibly tight breeches – it’s BATTLE OF THE DARCYS!!!!!
3) No single YouTube treat this week – instead pop over to PopWatch for a smorgasboard of the best movie librarians and their libraries…

The Sherlock Holmes piece is really cool.
But the battle of the Darcys? Le sigh… But you know, it really is interesting that he always has dark hair and rather pale skin.
Who’d be your vote? Mine was Lawrence Olivier, followed closely by Colin Firth…

It’s his dark smirky emo soul…
Plus if he was blond, how would you know that he was mean and Bingley was nice?
I think my votes are the same as yours but they tie – I’ve got a big thing for Olivier, but Colin Firth made that role his own 100%…
Not sure I fancy David Rintoul, his Darcy looks a bit like he’s just stepped out of Monty Python’s Upperclass Twit of the Year!
